Built in 1996, the Platteville Family Aquatic Center has been a mainstay of the greater Platteville area for over 25 years, serving as the community pool for summer recreation, swimming lessons, job opportunities for local youth, and providing lasting memories for generations of local families and visitors.

Structural failures in the spring of 2024 have rendered the pool unsafe to operate. While a $6.9 million referendum, voted in with overwhelming support in 2025, will cover the cost of basic construction, additional features/amenities will likely not be included.

With your support, we hope to raise enough funds for the inclusion of additional features in the new pool including a waterslide, play features, shade structures, and picnic areas.​  Help us restore Platteville’s tradition of summer swimming and create new memories for generations to come.
