Angela Wright
Secretary
Angie is an accomplished grant professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, specializing in helping nonprofit organizations and municipalities secure crucial funding to implement projects and achieve their goals. In addition to her consulting work, Angie is actively involved in community leadership. She is a founding board member and secretary of Inspiring Community, Inc. and a board member and secretary of the PHS Scholarship Fund. Angie also chairs the Rountree Gallery/Platteville Arts, Trails, and History (PATH) Committee and is an active member of the Grant Professionals Association. Her academic background, professional dedication, and volunteer service reflect her commitment to making a meaningful difference in her community and beyond.

Mary Huck
Treasurer
Mary was born and raised in Union Grove, Wisconsin and graduated from Marquette University with a degree in elementary education and a masters in American History. She taught for several years before accepting a position at The Mining Museum and Rollo Jamison Museum in Platteville where she worked as the Education Coordinator for 32 years. Mary has been working part-time at Inspiring Community since 2019.

Eileen Nickels
Eileen was born and raised in Southwest Wisconsin and is a proud graduate of UW-Platteville. She has served on the Platteville City Council, Southwest Wi Technical College Board of Directors, and the Platteville Regional Chamber Board of Directors. Eileen is currently a member of the City of Platteville Plan Commission, Main Street Economic Vitalization Committee, Platteville Optimist Club, Platteville Quota Club, Platteville High School Scholarship Committee, Friends of the Mining and Jamison Museums Committee, Grant County Economic Development Corporation, and Southwest Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission.

Gene Weber
Gene has been an active board member and leader in the Jaycees (President), St. Augustine (President), United Way, Platteville Community Arboretum & Trail (VP/Sect.), Platteville Community Fund, PHS Scholarship Fund, and Inspiring Community. Gene played an integral part in the formation of the PHS Scholarship Fund. He led the steering committee made up of PCA, PCF, Building Platteville, and city representatives in paving and lighting the $1.7 million 3-mile David Canny Rountree Branch trail and another to build the Outdoor Fitness Center. Gene has served in key roles for ICI in helping mentor various steering committees ($1.2 million event center, 8 court pickleball facility, $2.6 million inclusive playground, $1.8 million fire station private fundraising effort, and $800,000 aquatic center private fundraising project) as well as actively fundraising for each. Gene is a neighborhood leader advocating for single families near Westview school. He stays fully attuned to national, state and community issues networking wherever value to Platteville can be gained.

Sheri Engelke
Sheri is a lifelong resident of Platteville, having graduated from Platteville High School and earning an agriculture business degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville as a non-traditional student. After graduating from UWP she started her career as an agriculture and commercial loan officer. She has worked in the fertilizer and chemical field and for a sale barn and equipment dealership. Sheri is currently retired but does consulting work part time and works for Inspiring Community Inc. as the director of finance. She serves on the both the Inspiring Community Inc. and Platteville Community Fund (PCF) boards.

Alaina Reeves
Alaina joined the ICI Board in 2024 after being involved in the Platteville Inclusive Playground and Platteville Area Fire Facility projects. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received a degree in personal finance with an emphasis in business and leadership. Born and raised in Platteville, Alaina returned home in 2019 to begin her career as a financial advisor at Edward Jones. She likes to stay busy helping the community through ICI, church, and the Platteville Optimist Club, who named her "Optimist of the Year" in 2022.
